A commercial move is a scheduling problem with furniture attached
Nobody judges an office move by how the desks travelled. They judge it by whether people could work on Monday.
That changes the whole shape of the job. A household move optimises for care; a commercial move optimises for sequence. What comes off the truck first has to be what the destination needs first, which means the load order is decided before anything is lifted.
It also means the building matters as much as the contents. Freight lifts get booked, docks have windows, and a building that will not release its service entrance until seven in the evening sets your start time whether the plan liked it or not. We confirm those before we confirm the date.

What we do and do not take on
We move furniture, fixtures, files and general office equipment, and we do it around your hours. That covers the large majority of commercial relocations in both markets.
What we do not do is pretend to be specialists in things that need specialists. Some equipment needs a manufacturer-certified installer to disconnect and recommission it, and a moving crew signing off on that would be doing you no favours.

- Server racks and live network hardware. We will move the racks; decommissioning and recommissioning is your IT team’s call.

Can you move us outside business hours?
Yes. Evening and weekend moves are normal for commercial work and are planned into the quote rather than added afterwards.
How much downtime should we expect?
That is the number the plan is built around, and it comes out of the site visit. A single-floor office of twenty desks is usually an overnight. Larger or multi-site moves get phased so no team loses more than a day.
Do you move IT equipment?
We move the hardware. Disconnecting and recommissioning live network equipment stays with your IT team, because a moving crew signing off on that would not be doing you a favour.
Can you handle a phased move?
Yes, and it is common. Part of the contents goes to the new site, part goes into storage, and the balance follows on a later date.
What about the furniture we are not taking?
Cleared on the same schedule, so you hand back an empty space rather than organising a second removal.
